Take a trip through time and space with my Final Fantasy 7 Remake 80’s movie cast.😆😄These are some of my favorite 80s celebrities who remind me of the characters from the game or I think would just make a fun 80s movie. Enjoy my top notch casting



First up is the golden boy Cloud Strife. Now to play this leading man i needed someone who was just as intense during action scenes as they are during prolonged scenes of brooding, awkward pausing and smouldering stare downs. For that i went with Good ol’ Jhonny Depp. 1 because he was an icon in the 80s and also because he kind of looks like Cloud in this game right? once you see it , you cant see any thing else

Next up is My favorite character in Final Fantasy 7, Tifa. to play this Martial Arts mauler I couldn’t think of anyone better than the Queen of Bay Side High, Tiffani Amber Thiessen. I think This is Perfect casting. I mean She is even wearing a LockHeart!!

Now with this pick, i went more for matching energy than matching likeness. Barret is Basically Mr.T to me. even when i was a kid, i would read Barret’s lines out loud with a Mr.T voice and it just felt right. When I Heard Barret Talk in this game I thought they did a perfect casting job. They stopped just short of getting the A team back together.

Now for your Number 1 Healer and Voted Most likely to cast raise Aerith. Here is where people start giving me funny looks but let me explain. first the person playing Aerith Needs to be able to sing and Gloria Estefan is one of the best singers to ever Grace god’s green earth. But thats not all. this person needs to Capture that strong and independent quality that Aerith has in this game. I think Gloria has got it.

Here I went With Benjamin Bratt for Biggs. Now i know people have said flat out that That Biggs’ human counter part is Charlie Sheen but thats not who i pictured when i first saw Biggs in this game. also remember..this is an 80s movie we need to mix things up a bit.

For Jessie I went with Vanity. This is because of the Playful and Flirtatious nature Jessie shows through out the game. It definitely reminded me of Vanity in the movie Last Dragon.

Lets not forget about Wedge. Tell me You don’t see a resemblance here. I know they don’t really look alike but I couldn’t help but think of Mario Lopez when i saw Wedge for the first time in this game.
